COLNE turned in a disappointing display to go home from Stone Dominoes empty-handed.
They weren't helped by the loss for the first half of Jamie Webster, who suffered car trouble on the way to the ground and only arrived at the break.
By then Colne were already a goal down scored by Steve Tasse in the 22nd minute and the home side doubled their lead 25 minutes into the second half through Colin Fletcher.
Colne's young side rarely threatened to pull a goal back.
It was only thanks to keeper Ross Baxter, who pulled off a number of excellent saves, that the scoreline remained respectable.
"We were well-beaten and we never really caused them many problems," admitted Colne chairman Dave Blacklock.
RESULT: STONE DOMINOES...2 COLNE...0
