AFTER the match, Vialli seemed the more disappointed of the two managers.
"We must win at home," he said. "I expected North End to score again, not us, and I shouldn't be expecting that.
"We must improve. The break now is just at the right time for us. We have enough talent to do it."
David Moyes, on the other hand, was reluctant to look on the downside.
He said: "These things happen to the best of players.
"We are improving and we will continue to improve. We showed on Wednesday that we can be as good as anyone in this league and we showed that again for spells of today's game.
"The goal was unfortunate. The ball was going out of the park anyway but no one player should take the blame. All of them have voices and could have shouted."
