A 400-YEAR-OLD school has welcomed its first set of triplets. The Klaumunzer triplets from Berlin - Antje, David and Marion - have started their studies in the sixth form at Stonyhurst College.
Director of Admissions Peter Anwyl said they were among a growing number of German pupils enrolling at UK independent schools, where the curriculum offered a mix of the traditional and the innovative, and where subjects like Latin and Greek were still on the timetable.
Antje commented: "The school is amazing and quite beyond my imagination. And as new pupils back home in Germany life would have been far less pleasant!"
