ROSSENDALE and Darwen MP Janet Anderson defended her comment that women would become more promiscuous under a new Labour government as a joke taken out of context.
Her claim that women would have more sex more often if Tony Blair was in power was branded disgusting by her Tory opposite number Cheryl Gillan but Mrs Anderson said that interviewer Petronella Wyatt for the Daily Telegraph had failed to see the humorous intent of her remark.
