CHILDREN need not be bored during half-term in Rossendale because a hectic week of activities is planned at Fearns High School site in Stacksteads.
From October 22 to 26, the school's sport and leisure centre is providing structured sporting activities which will last all day.
Youngsters aged eight and over can take part in badminton, an assault course. arts and crafts, indoor football, short tennis, relay races, basket ball, rounders, puzzles, a treasure hunt and much more.
The cost is £7 per day or £32 for the whole week and registration starts at 9am.

Children are advised to wear suitable clothing and take a packed lunch.
