MANCHESTER United were not the only team to produce one of the great comebacks of the season...just ask Great Harwood Rovers!
Just as United did at Spurs, Rovers repeated against Darwen with a thrilling second half fight back after going in at the break 4-0 down.
And it was only a magnificent fingertip save by Phillip McNally that prevented Rovers from taking all three points.
This was certainly a game of two halves with Darwen taking the lead and control within 20 seconds.
Michael Galeski launched a hopeful ball goalwards and Matt Derbyshire leapt above keeper John Hewertson to nod the ball home.
Nick Eatough had a couple of half chances for Rovers before Darwen went 2-0 up when Derbyshire turned provider as Galeski arrived late in the box to head home.
Number three soon followed as Darwen underlined their control on the game when Galeski released the overlapping Peter Walsh who skipped past a challenge and rifled a shot across Hewertson.
Victory was surely secured for Darwen while Rovers were thoroughly dejected.
Derbyshire then grabbed his second of the game thanks to some good work by strike partner Simon Van-Der-Linden as classy Darwen finished the half in style.
The two strikers then went close as the start of the second half before Eatough fired home to give Rovers a glimmer of hope.
Rovers then reduced the deficit even further when Andy Vickers fired the ball home after McNally had saved Eatough's initial shot.
Liam Noon, one of the few Rovers players who never gave up the fight when they were 4-0 down, made it 4-3 with a long shot that caught in the wind and deceived McNally.
By now Darwen could not get out of their own half. Chris Murphy went on a rare raid down the right but Rovers defenders soon snuffed out the threat.
And they completed their remarkable recovery when influential substitute Matt McNamara beat McNally with another long range shot -- and his somersaults showed just what it meant to him!
But Rovers were still not finished. Eatough fired just wide before McNally produced a flying save to keep out James Linley's pile driver.
