A WOODLAND festival is being held at Townley Hall, Burnley on Sunday.
It has been organised by The Forest of Burnley, a project funded by the Lottery Commission and the Forestry Commission to create an arboretum and new woodlands in and around Burnley.
Experts will be on hand from the local Bat and Badger Conservation Group and Hedgehog Rescue, and there will be chainsaw carving and falconry displays. A free minibus service provided by Sustainability Action Partnership will operate from Stoops and Hargher Clough Community and Daneshouse and Stoneyholme Community Centres.
Children will be able to try their hands at face painting, mask making, willow weaving, puppet making, bird box building and whistle making.more information on the minibus service call Kim or Ruth on: 01282 704605.
