POLICE have appealed for witnesses to the robbery of goods valued at £400 from a youth walking in Oak Hill Park, Accrington.
A 13-year-old boy was walking through the park at 9.15pm on Tuesday with another male youth when they were approached by two men.
One of them threatened the boy with an empty wine bottle picked up off the ground and the boy handed him his Nokia mobile telephone and a Pulsar wrist watch.
The man with the bottle is described as white, 20, 6ft 4in and slim, with short, brown hair and wearing four earrings in his right ear. He wore a dark blue Adidas tracksuit.
His accomplice was also white, 20, 5ft 9in and of medium build, with shaved blonde hair, and was wearing a green and blue Adidas sports jacket with dark blue trousers.
Detective sergeant Mark Rothwell said: "If anybody recognises these two from the descriptions or saw them entering or leaving the park and can offer any information that may lead to their identification I would ask them to contact us."
