THREE games in eight days will provide a major challenge for King Edward and Queen Mary School 1st XV in early October.
Captain Tom Eastham is calling for more consistency from his squad. "We played well against Liverpool College and Wilmslow," he said "and our tackling was outstanding in defeat at Kirkham. However, we played poorly at home to a very useful side from Lymm."
Vice captain Matthew Kidd feels that Saturday's visit to Stockport will be significant. "I am looking for much better defence." he said "and for far less mistakes. We know Stockport are always a strong outfit and we can expect Wirral GS to be gunning for us in the Daily Mail Cup just four days later."
Coach Phil Rudd hopes that the side's final match before the half term break will be a suitable show on the school's Open Day on Saturday, October 13.
"We will need all our resolve against William Hulme's," he said.
