CLITHEROE travel to Abbey Hey tomorrow (ko 1pm) looking for their sixth consecutive win in NWCL Division One.
Manager Lee Sculpher has a 100 per cent record since taking over from Dave Burgess and he is keen to see that continue.
"I didn't expect we'd get back into the thick of things at the top of the league quite so quickly," he said. "But despite having a bad start to the season we knew we had the players to get us up there."
The Blues were this week boosted by the news that Mark Stewart had turned down a move to UniBond First Division side Chorley but Rossendale's Patrick Lauber, a Blues target, has chosen not to come to Shawbridge.
Chris Whittingham (foot), Adam Gardner (calf) are unlikely to be fit tomorrow. Striker Lee Cryer is still out with a knee injury, and may return next week, and Richard Fogarty is away on holiday.
