ALL my cats were named Tibby and my first dog, Rover.
How times have changed.
An RSPCA survey shows the top 10 dog names now have the human touch.
The hit parade is Ben, Max, Bonnie, Sam, Jack, Toby, Ellie, Meg, Poppy and Rosie.
For cats its Tigger/Tiger, Charlie, Misty, Tom, Smokey, Harriet, Poppy, Sam, Booty and Blackie.
We must have been a bit daft in Westleigh when I was young.
Our next door neighbour's mutt was always referred to as Monty Rowley. It gave him a touch of class.
The use of the surname still makes me smile. Rover Evans didn't sound half as posh.
