ILLUSTRATOR Steve Hutton wowed children when he dropped in at St Mary's CE in Rawtenstall.
The library service had arranged for him to meet classes at Rawtenstall Library, but because it was raining, he agreed to go to the school instead to save the children getting wet.
At St Mary's he asked the children to pick one of his characters and then set the scene of what they wanted it to do and what it should be wearing. The finished drawings were then left for the school.
