CHORLEY'S Derian House Children's Hospice is staging an afternoon of Christmas cheer later this month.
The hospice is offering a range of gifts and cards on Sunday from 1 to 5pm.
The Astley Village hospice has also arranged for a photographer to be available for family portraits and photographs of children.
This year, for the first time, Derian house has decided to offer its friends and supporters the opportunity to take part in its Lights of love Appeal.
To celebrate the life of a friend or loved one, you can arrange for one of the hundreds of lights surrounding the hospice and on its lights of love trees to be lit and dedicated to them.
In return you will receive a special card inscribed with their name, containing a specially-designed "Star of Light" lapel pin.
There will be a member of staff available throughout the afternoon for any enquiries about Light of Love cards.
For further information, contact Lisa in the Appeals Office on 01257 271271.
