PEOPLE will be given the chance to trace their family tree at a family history fair being held in Chorley.
The three-day fair is being organised by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and will be held at their Preston Temple, in Temple Way, Chorley.
Experts from County Records, Libraries, Parks and Cemeteries and local family history societies will be on hand to give advice.
County archivist Neil Sayers and Caroline Waite of County Libraries will be among the guest speakers and there will be special workshops concerning ancestors connected with Canals and Coal Mines, Irish Ancestry and another for people who do not know who their father is.
A fact-filled information pack, Where Do I Start - Where Do I Go From Here, will also be available.
The fair will be held on Thursday and Friday from 3pm to 9pm and on Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
Admission is free.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints holds the worlds largest collection of genealogical records and all of them can be accessed through their family history centres across the country.
