MASTERPIECES are to be displayed at four Burnley schools to inspire an appreciation of art.
Sainsbury's have supplied the four reproductions to Towneley High School, St. Hilda's Girls School, Gawthorpe County High School, and Habergham High School.
It is part of the supermarket chain's 'Pictures for Schools' scheme, which has provided 40,000 prints to 8,500 schools in the UK during the past nine years.
The masterpieces were chosen by Professor Sir Christopher Frayling, rector of the Royal College of Art, to reflect childhood and learning.
The pictures are: The Ambassadors by Hans Holbein the Younger, The Orrery by Joseph Wright of Derby, Snow Storm: Steam Boat off a Harbour's Mouth by Turner, and Children Reading Comics by Peter Blake.
