MICHELLE Hilton (LET, October 2) was a fighter. She fought for seven years against cancer and bureaucracy. We must ensure she did not die in vain. Nobody else must suffer like her.
The drug Herceptin should be given to anybody who needs it. Surely, everybody has a right to life and the Lancashire Evening Telegraph has done an excellent job in highlighting the problems encountered by local cancer sufferers.
I have started a petition. Let's not stand back in apathy and just say 'What a shame.' As a memorial to Michelle, let's carry on her campaign.
If you want to add your name to a petition I have started for Herceptin to be made freely available to all, please write to me.
