THANK you for the article on our fund-raising day on Friday, October 5, (Citizen, September 27) in memory of Michael Luvate, of Leyland.
All the money raised will be going to the young Oncology Unit at Christies Hospital, Manchester, the total amount raised was £1,200. A fantastic achievement thanks to the support of some wonderful people.
Also thanks to Senate Electrical and Best Electrical for the donation of some wonderful prizes, BAC gym at Samlesbury, Albion Motors, New Progress Housing and all the support that everybody contributed into making this fantastic amount. On behalf of Michael's mother June, myself and Marjorie Myrescough would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the hard work involved and God bless.
