SKIPPER Sean Gregan knows how important a win for North End to beat Crewe on Saturday.
He said: " We didn't really want the break, because we'd started picking up a little bit but we'll be looking to continue the run going against Crewe."
"They beat Watford in their last home game, so it's going to be a tough place to go.
"They like to play football and we were firing on all guns when we went their last season, so it will be a difficult game.
"We've been on a good run, however, and we'll be looking to get a win and not just a draw."
