SEVERAL bus routes in Clitheroe town centre are to be diverted as of tomorrow while resurfacing work is carried out.
King Lane and Moor Lane will be closed from 8am to 5pm, affecting the Duck Street bus stop, opposite the junction of King Lane, Pendle Club and Moor Lane.
Services travelling along Duck Street and Lowergate will be diverted via Waterloo Road, Peel Street and Queensway, except for the 104 service, which operates via Low Moor and Edisford Bridge to Preston, which will still use the Duck Street stop.
And services along Wellgate and Lowergate will be diverted via York Street, Waterloo Road, Peel Street and Queensway.
A temporary stop will be sited on Queensway near the junction with Whalley Road.
The changes will also apply on Sundays October 21 and 28 while more resurfacing work is carried out. Anyone wanting more information should contact the Traveline on 0870 6082608.
