MODEL railway enthusiasts should note November 9 to 11 in their diary -- dates when Pendle Forest Model Railway Society holds its annual exhibition.
At the Civic Theatre, Stanley Street, Nelson, there will be layouts on themes as well as displays and preservation groups and demonstrations of how to build the models.
Traders will sell everything from train sets to spare parts and there will be a miniature railway for children to ride on and even drive.
At the weekend a film show will be held and refreshments will be available all three days.
Honorary secretary David Carter said: "The event is aimed at the whole family and whether you are merely interested in trains or an experienced modeller there will be something to interest you at the Pendle Forest Model Railway Exhibition."
The exhibition will be open on November 9 from 6pm to 10pm, on Saturday from 10am to 6pm and on Sunday from 10am to 5pm. Admission is £2 adults £1 children.
