JASON Holroyd could hardly have wished for a better managerial debut as he saw his team produce the performance of the season to win at the league leaders.
A goal down after ten minutes Rovers rode their luck and levelled on 43 minutes with a quickly taken Luke Hardman free kick. Under pressure LR broke away to grab the winner when Mark Jones beat two men and crossed for Steve Strange to head home but the victory owed just as much to incredible goalline clearances from Mark Parry and man of the match Chris Dalton.
