TWO thieves dragged a man from his car before stealing a quantity of cash from the vehicle.
The incident happened when the driver was waiting at the lights at Bury New Road, Whitefield, at its junction with Radcliffe New Road.
Police say that two men approached the car, opened the doors and pulled out the driver.
He suffered a bloody nose and grazes to his arm. After stealing cash from the car, his attackers ran off.
Both of the thugs are described as white, in their late teens or early 20s, 6ft, slim with short, dark hair.
Anyone with information about the robbery, which happened at 10.25pm on Friday (Oct 12), is asked to ring Detective Constable Dave Thorpe of Whitefield CID on 856 8240.
