BLACKBURN Drama Club will open its new season -- with a final curtain.
The Herbal Bed, by Peter Whelan, will be the club's last performance at its traditional home, Blackburn College.
Blackburn Drama Club was formed in 1944, and for 37 years it has staged productions at the former technical college.
However, the college will be unable to provide its theatre for outside use after November because it increasingly needs the space for examinations and its own expanding music and performing arts department.
Directed by Dorothy Perkins, The Herbal Bed will be presented from November 7 to 10 at 7.30pm (Friday 8pm) at the Blackburn College Theatre, Fielden Street. Bookings from October 29. at Travel Lines, Ainsworth Street, Blackburn.
Tickets £5 (£4.50 concessions) Pre-show supper inclusive tickets are £16, Friday only, available by ringing 01254 664787.
