JOHN Lister's men stretched their unbeaten run to four games with an impressive win over Holker Old Boys last night.
Colne took the lead after just eight minutes when George Craddock turned and beat his marker on the edge of the box and he fired home.
The home side doubled their advantage 15 minutes from time, when Ben Callon, who had another impressive match, weaved his way into the Holker area only to be felled by a desperate defender. Callon picked himself up and scored from the resulting penalty.
That seemed to be how the game was going to finish but there was a frantic finale five minutes from time.
Holker pulled a goal back through the prolific Carl Walker, who cashed in on a rare mix-up between Richard Walton and Gary Dalton.
Colne went straight up the other end and Chris Ingham scored his fourth goal in four games when he stabbed the ball home after the keeper had only parried a Craddock shot.
RESULT: COLNE...3 HOLKER OLD BOYS...1
