DAVID McFarlane and Stuart Bell are the proud owners of new belts after Fight Night success at the Thompson Centre.
McFarlane, of host club Burnley Black Knights, won the North West Kick Boxing Full Contact 69.1kg title while Bell of Blackburn-based Shin-Gi-Thai Kick Boxing Club was crowned Northern area Thai Boxing 74kg champion.
While McFarlane did a one round demolition job on Rob Berry of the Fight to Fit Club in Accrington, Bell was taken the full distance by Roshgar Adran of The Tigers Club in Leeds and won by a single point.
The third title fight of the night was a 'no contest' after Shaun Litherland of the Shin-Gi-Thai picked up an injury in the North West Kick Boxing 85kg bout.
Litherland, 23, dislocated his shoulder in the first round of the fight against Ryan Salter of Fit To Fight but the pair will meet again in a re-match in March 2002.
Litherland's coach Craig McMillan said: "I feel really sorry for Shaun for like Ryan he put in a lot of hard work leading up to the fight.
"But the shoulder popped out as he threw a punch and competition rules state that it is a no contest. But they will meet again early next year."
McMillan had plenty to be pleased about for after Bell's success, Jason Curtis, who runs Jag Martial Arts Club but fights out of the Shin-Gi-Thai camp, won his first ever contest.
There was plenty to cheer about for other local fighters.
Adam Konieczny of Black Knight beat Damien Foley of Te-Sheng-Do of Manchester on points in their 66kg Kick Boxing bout.
Jason Wood of Fit To Fight stopped James Weight in the second round of their 79kg contest and Craig Winters of Haslingden-based BJJC Martial Arts beat Daniel Lennon of Te-Sheng-Do on points to take their 56kg clash.
The flamboyant Kerry of Black Knights continued to impress with a fine points win against John Green of Rotherham in the 82kg weight class.
Michael Strahan of Blackburn Kick Boxing Club also enjoyed a points win, beating Kieran Watson of Te-Sheng-Do in their 73kg bout.
Mark Booth of BJJC also got the judges vote to beat Jamie Cottam-Howarth of Blackpool Budokan in their 70kg fight.
Dean Bertenshaw of Blackburn Kick Boxing Club beat Mick Gardiner of Te-Sheng-Do on points in the 88kg division.
The 56kg light contact bout between Jake Goodwin Tindill of BJJC Martial Arts and Blackburn Kick Boxing Club's Scott McConnell finished a draw.
But McConnell's club-mate Owen McGill was beaten on points by Alan Burnside of Rotherham in their 70kg fight.
Event organisers Alan Clarkin of Black Knight Promotions said: "The event was a great success and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
"It was a shame about the title fight but we will be hosting the re-match at the Thompson Centre some time next March."
