CLITHEROE manager Lee Sculpher will go on a scouting mission this weekend as his side haven't got a game.
The new boss, who saw his side beaten for the first time in the nine matches he has been in charge midweek, will be taking the time out to have a look around.
"It is quite nice to have a Saturday off," said the boss. "We will be training in the morning and then go to a match in the afternoon."
The rest gives Adam Gardner a chance to get over an injury for Tuesday's match against Salford City but striker Lee Cryer will need more time out.
The frontman has been out for four weeks with knee ligament damage and still needs at least another week off.
The mini-break also gives the supporters a rest - the Blues have a hardcore of fans who have been doing their best to urge the team on this season.
"They have been great," said Sculpher. "We have a good set of supporters who usually outnumber the home fans on our travels and they have been good this season.
"It helps me and it helps the team."
Clitheroe will also be waiting for the second round of the FA Vase draw on Monday after reaching the semi-finals of the competition last season.
