STOCKSBRIDGE Steelers may be bottom of the table but Chorley boss Ken Wright, pictured, left, is expecting a difficult game when his team crosses the Pennines tomorrow.

"I saw them play at Radcliffe Borough on Tuesday night and they were beaten 5-0," he said. "To be honest they got battered but then you look at the team and it is more or less the same as the one that finished in the top six last season.

"That is why I think it will still be a difficult game for us. They will be looking to steady the ship after some poor results and bounce back because their form has obviously not been so good."

Ironically Chorley's last match was also a defeat at Radcliffe, although by the narrower scoreline of 2-1, and Wright insisted: "Our form had been quite good before then and so we have to get back to that."

As he prepares his squad for the match Wright has a couple of question marks over key players.

"Neil Mitchell should be okay after missing the last match with a broken nose," he said. "But Danny Mills is still a doubt even though he has recovered from the infection that was affecting his shin.

"He has been suffering from 'flu this week and that can wipe you out.

"Peter Smith has got a bit of a groin strain and Michael Wallace a calf strain and although both missed training last night they have a chance of being fit."
