SEDGLEY PARK will be without Kiwi ace Rob Moon when they travel to Esher tomorrow. The trip to Surrey will be a difficult one as Esher are currently lying fourth in the table and the absence of Achilles injury victim Moon adds to the degree of difficulty facing Park.
Coach Colin Stephens is optimistic though despite other injury doubts over Mike Wilcock and Alun Peacock.
"We will have to wait and see how Mike and Alun are, but I am hoping they will both be fit enough to play.
"We are leaving early on Saturday morning and going donw by train," said Stephens. "We are second but it is going to be a tough game, especially away from home. It's a big four-pointer really."
Looking back to last Saturday's Senior Knockout Cup defeat at the hands of Coventry at Park Lane, Stephens said: "I thought we played very well up to the last 20 minutes or so. We were leading until late on, then in the last ten minutes we slipped off a few tackles and they got a few scores. The majority of it was our own fault.
"There was one late tackle where they picked the ball up and scored. That sort of thing didn't help.
"Coventry are a good team, but they had to work hard for their win and if that's what the level is one league above we'll do OK if we go up," added Stephens.
