"WE should have won the game, it's as simple as that," said Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
"Blackburn looked dead and buried at 2-1 and I thought we could score more goals but we played too many short passes when we had four strikers on the field at the end.
"We were unlucky with Blackburn's goals and, although people will criticise our defence because we conceded three at home, I can't blame individuals.
"But Blackburn are technically a very good side, they caused us problems and at times we couldn't deal with that properly.
"When we played them in the FA Cup last season we beat them easily but they had other things on their mind at the time.
"Now, however, their squad is far better equipped and I'm sure they'll survive and do well in the Premiership."
Patrick Vieira said: "I thought we were a little bit tired after the European game two or threes days ago and when you are chasing a game at 1-0 you've got to throw people forward and try and get the game back.
"But Blackburn came here to play really deep and really strong and they did that very well so I think they deserved a point in the end."
Garry Flitcroft said: "Dunny has all the ability in the world but his mistake for their third goal is where he's got to start learning.
"He had the ball and should have played it out straight and simple but instead he tried a trick, got caught and they went on to score."
