A HAPPY tale of a rags-to-riches romance is sure to lift the spirits and cheer the soul as we head towards the end of British Summer Time.
North Blackburn Church Players have been busy rehearsing for their latest production which starts tomorrow at St Mary's College, Shear Brow, Blackburn.
'Me and My Girl', the story of a barrow boy who inherits a lord of the manor title and finds the girl of his dreams, is directed by Janet Holden.
Tickets for the production, which runs until Saturday, are £5 for adults each night with concessions for children and pensioners tomorrow, Thursday and Friday (£4.50).
