IT IS, of course, good for English football that England have qualified for the World Cup finals.
However, I do think that many supporters, players and ex-players are going over the top when they say that England can win the trophy in Japan.
England have two world-class players in David Beckham and Michael Owen -- and a very shaky defence.
Of course, supporters are entitled to be optimistic.
But I think they should also be realistic in their appraisals of England's hope in Japan.
In my opinion, to reach the last eight - or possible the last four - is the best England can hope for.
