YOUR issue of October 15 came close to being a Labour Party propaganda sheet!
Firstly, there was your article decrying the terrible state of affairs with both Conservative-run Hyndburn Council and council-owned property -- rotten window frames left unpainted, jobs not done when requested, too much red tape, etc.
"Have the window frames suddenly rotted in the past two years?"
Too much red tape? Talk to a teacher, (if you can find one!) a doctor, nurse or anyone else in the public sector and they all say the same thing -- too much red tape introduced by the "power freaks" of post 1997-Westminster.
Your Opinion column about this could well have been written by Mr A Campbell, of Downing Street, endorsed, of course by, Greg Pope MP.
