A BURNLEY pensioner described by his family as a "complete family man" has died suddenly at work with a suspected heart attack.
Gordon Gallacher, 67, worked as a nightwatchman at TRW engineering on the Heasandford Industrial Estate. He died during the early hours of Sunday morning.
Gordon, of Marles Court, Burnley retired from the factory in 1995 and returned to work as a security guard.
Gordon leaves his wife Dorothea, daughters Ilane, Dorothea, Rosemarie and Audrey and son, Gordon.
Mr Gallacher also has 13 grandchildren.
He moved with his family from Dundee in the 1970s. He came to Burnley looking for work and spent the rest of his life in the town.
The funeral will be held on Friday St John's Church Ivy Street at 10.30am. That will be followed by a service at the crematorium in Rossendale Road.
