PRESTON North End is working with the Communication Workers' Union (CWU) and Preston College to provide an interesting and fun away to brush up on your maths, English and computer skills -- fantasy football.
This course is free to anyone over 16 and gives a chance to manage your own fantasy football team and compete for some great monthly prizes donated by Preston North End. Unlike other fantasy football schemes, maths and English skills will be part and parcel of making your team a winner.
The course can also give you a taste of using computers. You can use spreadsheets to keep track of your fantasy budget and points totals, plus contribute to our planned Fantasy League web-site.
Fantasy League meetings will take place once a fortnight at the CWU open2all Learning Centre on the fifth floor of Buckingham House, Glovers Court, Preston. All you need to do is go along for a total of six hours in November/December and work with college staff to make your team a winner!
Drop in for your six hours during these times: Thursday, November 22, 2pm-5pm or 6pm-9pm; Thursday, December 6, 2pm-5pm or 6pm-9pm.
To joining phone Dave or Ray on Preston 223100 or the College's Advice Centre line on 01772 225522 for more information and to sign up for your free place.
