NEWLY-capped Lancashire Under-16 scrum half Chris Fox led King Edward and Queen Mary School, Lytham, to a hard-earned victory over visitors Sedbergh.
Fox, together with outside half Jack Kelliher, launched the dangerous Lytham back line repeatedly to provide tries for centres Jamie Chadwick and Tom Moore.
Lytham's 12-5 interval lead came under severe pressure, but excellent tackling from forwards Richard Erskine, Jeremy Smith and Andrew Hall kept a very spirited Sedbergh rally at bay.
Scott Newburn powered over for Lytham and Chadwick ran in for the decisive try as Lytham won 27-15.
After the half term break, Fox and his side -- which has won six of its first seven games -- face a trio of local derbies against Rossall, Hutton and Arnold.
