HAVING just come back from our holiday in a "third world" country (or maybe it's a second world country) I read Councillor Fowler's remarks about the state of our roads and pavements. "Foolish exaggeration" claims Mr Jack Croysdill. I fear not.
Mr Croysdill should get out of his car and do a bit of walking. Our streets look more like an overgrown tip. On our holiday streets were swept and washed every day -- not bad for Bulgaria! So walk down Cornwall Ave and Knowle Ave, pot holes and all!
