GLEN LITTLE will definitely be in the squad for tomorrow's match at Molineux but it may still be too soon to risk him from the start.

Assistant manager Sam Ellis said: "We are pleased with how he has trained this week and also the fact that he had ten minutes against Crystal Palace in midweek.

"If there was a problem it would have shown itself inside 48 hours. He is okay so he is definitely getting a bit closer to a start."

Ellis was also happy to report some positive news about Little's fellow winger Alan Moore.

The Irish international had a hernia operation only last week but yesterday morning he was out in the rain at the Gawthorpe training ground as he continues his rehabilitation.

"I couldn't say when he is going to be back but it is always nice to see an injured player get back onto the grass of the training pitch," he said.

"That makes you think that they are well on their way back although it is still difficult to say when he will be in contention." Ellis knows that the team will have to be fully fit and at their best for what is a second tough test of the week.

With other teams playing on today it is not certain that Wolves will still be top when the clubs clash tomorrow but having already beaten Crystal Palace, Ellis is looking for a win double.

"Wolves are at the top and it will be hard but so were Palace on Tuesday," he said. "But all games are hard in their own way.

"This is another top of the table clash, these matches are great to go and play in and we are quite happy with our position.

"We did change our system for the midweek game and we thought we played well. We have got the players at the club who can play however the game presents itself.

"We will go back to our free flowing style that brought all the goals early in the season because we have got the players in the club to do it.

"But it was nice to keep a clean sheet because we had not had one for a while. I think that is four this season now.

"I know we had had a lot of 1-0 wins by this time last season but it did take us until after Christmas to score as many goals as we have got already this time. You just have to pick and choose which way to go." Manager Stan Ternent certainly picked a more conservative style against Palace and was rewarded with a fine defensive display that meant keeper Nik Michopoulos barely had a shot to save.

With Ellis warning about the threat from the flanks it is unlikely that

"There is no doubt that Wolves are a good side," said Ellis. They have got good payers going forward from wide positions and they will cause teams problems.

"But they have got good players right throughout the team and we are looking forward to a tough game."

Meanwhile Ellis and Ternent are both delighted with the way that midfielder Tony Grant has immediatley settled into the Burnley side.

"He did exceptionally well on Tuesday night, he is a very good player," he said. "That is exactly why the gaffer bought him."

Grant's midfield partner Paul Cook agreed: "He has done really well, he can play football.

"He was a great acquisition at a very good price and I think that it was an astute piece of business by the gaffer."
