PADIHAM suffered their fifth home defeat of the season against Blackpool Mechanics.
Ian Vickers headed the visitors ahead after 25 minutes and then in injury time at the end of the first half Rob Park added a second.
Carl Parker went closest for Padiham when he hit the crossbar in the seventh minute with a 20 yard shot and then hit the visitors crossbar again in the 44th minute with a header. Anthony McCluskey also missed a one on one opportunity with Blackpool keeper Stuart Barton.
Late in the gameVickers nearly made it three for the visitors but Padiham keeper Kirk Marsden saved well from close range.

Stand's game against Leek CSOB in NWCL Division Two was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
