THREE young stylists from Freddie's hair salon in Rawtenstall will compete in a national artistic hair competition at the weekend.
They will be among 150 hairdressers fighting for a place in the Schwarzkopf team competition in Birmingham on Sunday.
They hope to finish in the top ten who will then represent the international product manufacturers taking part in shows and demonstrations across the country for a year.
Competing for a place in the team will be Mark Morrison, 22, and 19-year-olds Vicky Hacking and Tracy Collinge.
All have worked at Freddie's in Bank Street, Rawtenstall, since they were 16.
They will each re-style a model's hair and then give a presentation before a panel of judges explaining their work.
Freddie Cunliffe said he was sure they would do well and hoped they would go all the way to the top.
