ONE night stands have never been so much fun! Throughout November and December Blackpool Winter Gardens is hosting a series of one night shows in the Opera House with a little bit of something for everyone.

If you like your humour of the toilet variety then don't miss Bottom 4 with Richie and Eddie back on Nov 6 after a four-year absence on the live circuit.

Former Young Ones Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmonson promise mindless, violence, gratuitious wind and an exploding parrot among their usual slapstick routine. Grab your £19.50 tickets for fun from 7.30pm.

On November 10 Jane McDonald cruises into town with big ballads, tearful thanks and spangly frocks aplenty from 8pm with tickets from £14.

Irish crooner Dominic Kirwan will set hearts a-flutter on Nov 18. Tickets are £14 and the Irish eyes start smiling at 7.30pm.

And November 27 sees Englebert Humperdink back in the town where he began. Who remembers Gerry Dawsey at Layton Institute? Sway along to Please Release Me and the rest from 7.30pm with tickets from £21.

Just for the kids Zoe's dad Johnny Ball hosts Tales of Blooming Science at 10am and 1.15pm for just £5.

Step back in time for the Solid Gold 60s Show on Nov 30. Marty Wilde and The Wildecats join Joe Brown and The Bruvvers for a night of rocking, rolling and remembering the good times. Ticket prices and times to be announced.

And as for December...

Take A Chance On Abbamania on Dec 8 (platforms and flares optional) with a tribute to Sweden's favourite export. Tickets are £14 and the dancing starts at 7.30pm.

Songbird Dinah Carroll will be saving the Best For Last at Blackpool on Dec 9 from 7.30pm with tickets from £22.50.

And Elvis is back in the building on Dec 11. The Spanish Hall that is and its Elvis Aaron Presley junior (Elvis's official true son recognised by the Nevada State Court) performing all the King's hits. Details to be announced.
