A MAN was robbed by three youths on a busy Lancaster street at 7pm on Monday evening.
The 44 year old local man was outside Pointer Court, Ashton Road when a young man on a bike rode into him and snatched a carrier bag.
The man was then assaulted and his wallet, containing cash, was stolen.
The robber on the bike is described as being dark skinned, possibly Asian, of slim build and around 18 to 20 years old. He wore a dark baseball cap, beige anorak with HH logos on and beige trousers.
The other two men are both white and bigger than the first man. One is six foot tall, wearing a dark anorak, a dark woolly hat and dark trousers, possibly jeans.
The third man is built similarly to the second and wore a dark bubble type anorak, baseball cap and, possibly, dark jeans.
