A YOUNG woman who admitted taking a tractor without the owner's consent has had her case adjourned for background reports.
Kelly Veevers, 21, of Broughton Close, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to taking the tractor on March 31 last year and also admitted a criminal damage charge involving a window and a quantity of books belonging to St James primary school on the same date.
A further charge of burglary, which she denied, was allowed to lie on the file.
Judge Peter Openshaw QC, sitting at Preston Crown Court, remanded Veevers on bail while pre-sentence reports are prepared.
