They can teach friendship (Toy Story), animal rights (Free Willy), tolerance (Dumbo) and that greed is wrong (Oliver).
A psychologist has this week said it is often assumed that watching videos is not a valuable way for children to spend their time, but they can help a child develop rather than just passively amuse.
Well if they can educate in a profitable way, surely they can also influence violence and depravity on the less-fortunate youngsters whose viewing is not monitored. The right message: Free Willy promotes animal rights
