WITH Sheffield United likely to line-up 4-4-2 Clarets full back Dean West could find himself up against a player who was once one of the hottest properties in the country.

It is a decade ago that Zimbabwe international Peter Ndlovu burst onto the scene in England as a precocious teenager.

His dazzling dribbling skills frequently lit up Highfield Road and for six seasons in the Sky Blue of Coventry he was a constant threat, scoring a number of outstanding goals.

He continued to find the net regularly when he dropped a division to play with Birmingham City and it was from the Blues that Neil Warnock signed him last season.

The 28-year-old is certain to be a threat for the Blades and West is likely to be the man keeping tabs on him.

The full-back played one season under Blades boss Neil Warnock after he replaced Stan Ternent as Bury boss.

He was back in the first team on Tuesday night having been left out of the Wolves match when Ternent opted for three in defence. West came on at half time at Molineux and helped the side in an improved display.
