A 20-YEAR-OLD man charged with causing the death by dangerous driving of 67-year-old Terrence Brennan has been remanded on bail by Blackburn magistrates.
Feroz Suleman, of Shear Brow, Blackburn, is also charged with failing to stop after an accident and failing to report an accident.
Terrence Brennan collided with a BMW car as he crossed a traffic light controlled crossing at the junction with Higher Audley Street, Copy Nook on Monday.
Suleman, described in court as a student at Blackburn College, was remanded on bail to appear at Preston Crown Court on November 21. Conditions of bail include the provision of a £4,000 surety by his father, Abdul Suleman, also of Shear Brow, surrender of his passport, not to contact prosecution witnesses, not to leave the UK and not to drive any motor vehicle.
