DETECTIVES joined clubbers and Saturday night town centre pubgoers in Todmorden in an attempt to get new evidence about an incident which has left a local man paralysed.
Thirty-four year old joiner Paul Dearden has been in hospital since being found unconscious at Baxter's nightclub on Saturday, August 25.
He remains barely conscious in Leeds General Infirmary and because of his condition has been unable to give police a statement. The father of two is also paralysed down the right hand side.
His wife Joanne and two daughters, Libby, two, and Georgia, four, have spent a great deal of time at his bedside.
Det Insp Jonathan Hoyle said police had been into Todmorden town centre on Saturday in an attempt to jog people's memories about that Saturday night, August 25.
Posters have also gone up in the area.
