TRADERS at Colne Market Hall have handed over £100 to the North West Air Ambulance Service.
The money was raised from a win a car competition held at the market hall during the Great British Markets Week in August.
Shoppers paid £1 to roll the dice to try to win one of only five Robin Reliants used by Del Boy in the hit television comedy series Only Fools and Horses.
Traders also allowed the market hall to be a drop-off point for donations of goods that could be used by the service to raise money to keep it airborne.
Donations of obsolete mobile telephones, laser jet and ink jet cartridges were made to the market manager's office during August and September.
Ian Varley, markets manager at Colne, said: "The North West Air Ambulance Service is a very valuable service for people across the North West.
"The traders felt that they wanted to help in a small way by donating proceeds from Great British Markets Week."
