A FOUR-man gang armed with baseball bats attacked two workers as they prepared to lock up Atherton Liberal Club early today.
The two workers were approached by a group of four masked men armed with baseball bats as they locked up the rear of the club on Flapper Fold Lane.
A 48-year-old man was hit over the head, although his injuries are not thought to be serious.
Both men were forced inside the building where they were tied up, and a substantial amount of money was taken.
Three of the offenders are described as 5' 7" tall, the fourth is 5' 10" tall and of normal build. They were all wearing dark clothing and balaclavas, one was also wearing a scarf and baseball cap.
