PLANS to convert a former church schoolhouse into flats will be discussed at a meeting tomorrow.
Developers are hoping to transform Colne Parish Church School in Exchange Street into seven residential flats.
The building lies within a conservation area and is of historical interest.
The proposed scheme also involves creating parking spaces and a garden within the grounds.
At the moment the building is unused and windows are boarded up.
The applicant, Bradford and Northern Housing Association has promised that there will be little alteration to the outside of the building which should be in keeping with the historic interest and character of the Albert Road conservation area.
The meeting of Colne and District Planning Committee will be held at the town Hall, Colne tomorrow at 7pm.
Members of the public are welcome to attend and there will be an opportunity to put questions to the committee.
