A TEENAGE boy was airlifted to the Royal Preston Hospital yesterday morning following an accident at 8.30am in Bolton Road in the Woodlea Chase area of Darwen, going towards Bolton.
Graham Bowen of the Lancashire Air Ambulance Flight Crew said he believed the boy had been caught by the wing mirror of a wagon.
He said he had suffered head injures but arrived at hospital at 9.30am and was in a stable condition.
